Dr. Carolyn Graeber is a board-certified specialist in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus.   Her expertise is in the treatment and surgical management of pediatric cataracts, pediatric glaucoma, cross-eye, and eye misalignments in children and adults with the use of adjustable sutures, nasolacrimal duct obstruction, ptosis (droopy eyelid), and all other eye diseases that affect children. She received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and then went on to complete her medical degree at Yale School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors and received the Wilbur G. Downs Prize for her thesis work.  After completing an internship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, she completed her residency at NYU Langone Medical Center in ophthalmology.  She then went on to complete her fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Children’s Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School. Her publications include topics such as the pathologic findings of intra-arterial chemotherapy for retinoblastoma, congenital cranial dysinnervation disorders, and central corneal thickness in a population-based study. She has also presented at numerous national and international conferences.  She continues to conduct clinical research.
