This service does not track your real-time current position as you move. It only captures your IP address and will send your current approximate location to the owner of the item you found to facilite its return. If you are using a smartphone with the location service feature turned ON, it will send a more accurate location info to the owner. To temporarily share your location from a smartphone or tablet, please reply "YES" when the browser asks for your permission to share location information. You can turn it OFF after viewing this page. Temporarily sharing a more detailed information to the owner gives some sense of peace of mind and faster recovery of lost items.

Kontakme and Pets Are Us does not share or sell location data and contact information to 3rd parties. The feature is used solely for informing owners of the probable location of their lost item. You have the option not to send your exact location by turning OFF the location service of your smartphone. If you feel that your privacy and security has been compromised through our service, please let us know and we will assist you accordingly.
