But what sets DICE apart is its dynamic alert system. The contact page varies depending on whether the guardian or parent has activated the ALERT mode. This feature ensures that the right information is shared at the right time, making the process of getting in touch more efficient and secure.

How It Works:

  1. The DICE Tag: The person of interest or the subject being monitored is equipped with a small, durable tag featuring a unique QR code.   2. Normal Mode: When the ALERT is not active, the QR code directs the person who scans it to a contact page that contains notes about what has been scanned and   instructions on what to do in case the subject has been found alone. This information that is displayed is minimal for privacy reasons, ensuring the subject's and the guardian's/parent's identity and private information are protected.
  3. Alert Mode: In the event of an emergency, guardians or parents can activate the ALERT mode through their DICE account, either through an app or web-based platform. Once activated, the QR code redirects to a more detailed contact page. This page may include real-time contact information, detailed instructions, and even a current photo of the individual, allowing strangers or emergency personnel to easily and immediately assist.

It can be integrated to different scanning technologies other than QR codes. Our contact links can easily be embedded in NFC bracelets, bluetooth low energy beacons and RFID tags allowing it to be adapted to different situations and user experiences.
