Our new image uploader and editor UI.

We've made some updates to the Kontakme and Utaggit service. As a summary, all updates contribute to a much better user experience and efficient operations. These updates are:

1. Faster response time when editing your contact information. Updates are almost instantaneous.

2. Fixed the multiple account creation and slow registration response times. We have cases where for example you are using a slow access network, the user experience response time seems slow as well. This created issues where you thought your page is not working when you submit a registration form so you attempt to push the submit button more than once which resubmits the registration forms multiple times as well. Sometimes you will get an error message that the username is used already so you end up creating another account. New registration submission will now disable the submit button once the registration has been submitted.

3. After a photo has been uploaded, the system will now allow you to crop, rotate and resize the image.

4. We have improved the vCard management capability. By "improved", we mean you do not have to manage it anymore. You don't need to update your vCard file after editing your contact information. It is automatically updated when someone requests for it which means when a vCard is downloaded, an updated version is always delivered.

5. Support for Portrait and Landscape orientation when uploading photos from a smartphone. Before It used to support only the Landscape orientation which is a technical limitation when uploading portrait oriented photos from smartphones.

6. Support of images in the vCard has been added. When someone downloads your vCard, it will also include you photo image if it is available.

7. We have removed the Function features which allows you to change the function of your contact link from either a business card or a property tag and vice-versa.

8. We have added a new service for small to large companies. This additional feature is not visible in the current dashboard because it is classified as an add-on service for companies who want to use the service for their employees. This new service includes dedicated registration and sign-up pages for companies, and a new design for the contact page, themed with the company's branding and colors of course. 9. For the Utagg.it service, you can now print temporary bag tags that you can use if you are in an immediate need of using our contact links in a luggage tag.

10. For Utagg.it , we've added a better Photo Uploader and Editor though we hope you do not have to use it because you normally use it only when you lose something ;-)

11. Bag Tags, Property Tags, Iron-on labels , stickers will be orderable by November, 2017. The beta shop can be accessed at kontak.me/shop by Nov. 1st. Bag tags start at $8.00 a piece. Pricing for the property labels will be announced soon.
