Kontaxio Adds Access Control via Smart Watch To Its Services
We are happy to announce the addition of a new feature in our smart building solution under the Kontaxio product line. Our Kontaxio clients can now unlock doors of buildings and smart lockers serviced by Kontaxio using some of the current smart watch models. We have tested this extensively using Samsung's Galaxy smart watch with Tizen OS and latest Galaxy Watches with Wear OS. It should also work with Wear OS powered Android smartwatches provided they can run an HTML compatible Web Browser App. The Apple iWatch version is available only to Watch OS version 5 and above.
But why use a smartwatch when you can already do everything on the smartphone? Kontakme believes that the logical evolution of our access control service is going to extend towards smartwatches for reasons of practicality and convenience. A smart watch on the wrist is more accessible than a smartphone in the pocket or bag, unless you are walking with your smartphone on your hand. You simply raise your wrist to turn ON the display of the smartwatch and you're ready to open the door or the smart locker. It is a more 'natural' movement compared to whipping out the smartphone.

You nor your intended receivers of your contact information do not need to download any special app. It works on almost all regular internet browsers and with almost any smartphone, tablet or computer. When you sign-up, I suggest you claim your personalized contact link before somebody else beats you to your favorite keyword. Do take note, Internet access is required.
