I'm so excited to announce the new features that we have added to our Digital Business Card Solutions in particular to our Kloud^TM service. It's now a full blown enterprise grade service where our clients can have it customized however they want to make sure it fits their business activities and branding. But, before I go into details, let me share a short history of why we needed to upgrade a perfectly working self-service platform.

In December of 2018, we launched eKloud^TM or simply the Kloud^TM (The eKloud™ - Reengineering The Contact List ). The digital business card and online contact list was not as hot then. But everything quickly changed after the  Covid 19 pandemic. People started doing business online, employees worked from home for extended periods, and everyone seems to have accepted the fact that remote working is now the norm. People also started to avoid touching random things unless they needed to.  It was surreal to see that during this long period and even until now, we all became somewhat germaphobic,  even just for a bit. This is the weird reality that we are now facing.  

But one thing that did not change was that the people doing business still exchanged contact information through text messaging and other social networking messaging services. These methods were not perfect. One is still required to type in the phone number or address and other information that needs to be shared every time someone asks for it. And the receiver may need to type the info in their own contact list. Thanks to the "copy/paste" feature of smartphones and PCs, although crude, the process of saving contact info gets done.

Should every employee in my company get a digital business card account or should I give it only to our sales people?

Our idea of the digital business cards are like dynamic mobile billboards  that you can send in the Internet and control what's displayed. The more your employees share their digicards, the more your company's products and services gets recognized. If advertisement is something you value, you should definitely get all your employees onboard.  

I have lots of employees, will it be expensive to deploy it company wide?

If you deploy paper business cards, then it will be expensive as you need to buy more paper business cards. But in the digital realm, you pay only for customizations and personalizations. You pay a fix rate every year and that's it. It doesn't matter where your employees are, their accounts would cost the same.

With so many companies now offering digital business card solutions, why should I get the Kontakme Kloud service?

Indeed you can. We have 4 levels of privacy ranging from "anyone can see" to "No one can see".
